The young hybrid gallery Arthentico organises a group exhibition in the "Alte Schieberkammer", Schmelz.

My pictures exhibited in the "Alte Schieberkammer" are from a series of black and white, sketchy views of Ses Salines, where, next to the water basins for salt extraction, the white glittering mountains of salt rise up into mighty, whimsical-looking formations like snow glaciers.
Not only the exhibition itself, but also the exhibition rooms are worth a visit.
The former "old part" of the Schmelz reservoir was built between 1870 and 1873 in the course of the construction of the I Vienna High Springs Pipeline. The "Old Sluice Chamber" housed the blocking devices (sluice gates) and pipes for filling, operating and emptying the Schmelz reservoir. After the construction of a new reservoir in the area of Gablenzgasse, the Old Sluice Chamber was completely restored in the 1990s and refurbished as an exhibition and event space.
